Synopsis
This documentary presents us the ancient worship of Madonna del Carmine of Avigliano. People and images represent the story of this adoration whose origin is in 1964 when the small village overcame some disastrous events thanks to Virgin intercession. This devotion gives birth to the religious feast of July 16th, when folk songs, gold donation and some hand-made wax sculptures are dedicated to the Virgin. It is also a film about the only left craftsman who still works on these small devotional sculptures.

Synopsis
Daylight…a drunk man walks on a beach. He meets a lonely woman contemplating the sea view. The man faints down in front of her. He opens again his eyes and sees the woman drawing a gun on her forehead. A shot. The woman is dead and the man runs away in total panic. That image of death keeps on obsessing him. Who is that woman? The man tries to find it out but his searching will lead to nothing. Night time. The man lies on a sofa. An intermittent light plays on his face. He abruptly wakes up; the truth about the woman has been revealed!

Biofilmography
Roberto Mazzarelli studies film and TV direction at DAMS at Roma 3 University. He explores experimental techniques through some videos like “Robert Mayer” and “The Man of Montreale”. In 2008 he shoots his first narrative short-film “Venerdì dopo Venerdì”. In the same year he shoots two more works “Access Road of a Mind” and “The Growth of Evil”. He worked on the backstage shooting for the film “La Siciliana Ribelle” directed by Marco Amenta. He directed many short-films like “Quello che è in Te”, “Il Cinema che non c’è Più”, “Can’t Stop the Rain”, “Stolen Car” and “Oscurità nella Periferia della Città”.
