Synopsis
In a hot summer night, a couple is questioned in a province police station. In front of them is a police commissioner with some strange habits. An obscure investigation, a questioning which becomes more and more challenging, a research for the truth which is turning into something unpredictable…
Biofilmography
Nicola Ragone attends some cinema directing and writing courses at “Cineteatro”. Since 2008 he has been working on many short-films as a cinematographer and director of photography. Since last October he has been assistant cinematographer for the documentary “Termini Underground”, directed by Emilia Zazza. In September 2009 he directed his first short-film “L’Ultimo Nastro”. He also has a debut in theatre with “Aspettando Vladimiro ed Estragone”, inspired by “Aspettando Godot” by Beckett.

Synopsis
The most exciting moment in the 2nd of July religious feast in Matera is the “tear up” of the float: the mass gathered in the main square of the city destroys the huge float made in paper pulp, and the ablest ones will eventually succeed in conquering some shreds, symbols of courage and devotion to the virgin. The “tear up” however is also allegorical of a cultural and social “tear up” of all those who left the city looking for a job somewhere else.
Biofilmography
Tommaso Schiuma starts his dedication to cinema after his knowledge of Tarantino and Lynch. IN 2005 he takes part in the collective Sofokoff. In 2005 and in 2006, this collective of young creative artists produce some TV works and the short-films Ex, Una volta è natale e La mummietta. In 2007 he directs the documentary film Io mi sento che ci sono. His Filmography also includes: 2008, Lo Strappo, 2009 Readacting – Nevica sull’isola di Baro.
